Here is a something to scare you out of any remaining complacency. I know most of you would have no reason to read Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto. So here I have pulled the "10 Planks of the Communist Manifesto" from his book. While I would not call Our nation a Communist country you will be hard pressed to come to any other conclusion.

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan
Department of Agriculture, Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, corporate regulations, and our most resent take over of the Automotive and Financial industries.
8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture
Minimum Wage, The Department of Labor, Income tax, and Unions.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country
Zoning, Food and Drug Administration
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.
