Good afternoon America! We're blogging from the Official TEA Party in Eau Claire WI!! People are rolling in small numbers and we have about 300 or more people in now here at 11:40 AM. We are making speeches, we have an MC leading the crowd, catering food, drink, signs, speeches, enthusiasm, and even a lemonade stand! Things are starting to roll here and we'll keep you all updated throughout the day on the going's on!

Brian Westrate, head of the Eau Claire County Republican Party says that he is sick and tired of National and State Party politics and that it isn't enough for the Republican candidates for carry an "R" name anymore. He pledged that if he puts forth any candidate to run for office in the City of Eau Claire and in Eau Claire County and the surrounding areas, that they must UPHOLD conservative principles or they will not run and if they do run and win and do not uphold conservative principles, they will be REMOVED!!!

Democrats or Republicans or both?

Micah Stofferan (TEA Party President) and Logan Nugent, running for Eau Claire City Council, put on a skit about Al Gore (Logan) and his climate change initiatives. Al apparently lost his job due to his committment to climate change and liberalism (voted out of office) and Al wanted to find a way get his job back. Micah, talked Al into getting his job back by having him help out the TEA Party and run on the conservative agenda! He's a politician right? He can pull it off!

Rick Gryselinck says that all of the poliitician are like kids in a candy store and if we continue to give them more power they will continue to spend. We must get rid of these people and have term limits and so that we will reign back this spending and get goverment back in control. Russ Feingold, Herb Kohl, Ron Kind, and Dave Obey are politicians who continue to run this machine. It is time for accountability and it is time turn them back. If the TEA Party grows, it will be a threat to this machine and we need to get out and get the word out, and that way when we will win back the ability to clean house!

We have 1,000 people here at the TEA Party event as of 12:36. We just took a break and had everyone get food a refreshments. We played patriotic music and everybody had a chance to catch up with each other! We have resumed the program and we're currently in the middle of a ventriculoquist act by Jim Swanson. Jim put on a first-rate act with a patriotic-singing little bundle of excitement named Jerry who was taught a history lesson by Jim about the takeover of American morality and the fabric of public thought by the Government. There is a picture of Jim and Jerry up on the site here with all of picture feed. They're a great act and they have a great message with entertaining song.

Randy Stofferahn speaking on climate change, saying no transparency in the goverment on global warming. All taxes from Cap&Trade will be put on the consumer. If you are breathing, you are polluting according to the EPA as you are breathing out the green house gasses. In the bill is a California style of energy control that will require every homeowner to decrease all energy use and consumption of energy on their property by 30% or else they will face penalties and won't be able to sell their home. Health care reform is a sham overhaul. Of the 48,000,000 who are said to uninsured, 24,000,000 of them choose not to be on insurance coverage. They wish to buy a stereo, a car, an entertainmment system instead. Another 11 million are illegal aliens. The rest of them need to find affordable healthcare but not by not by the government, which will lower the standards and quality and project power in over all of our lives. . .tyranny, in other words. Obama is going around the world and apologizing for America and calling capitalism greedy. He asked the crowd if they're greedy people, and the answer was an emphatic, "NO!" The last thing we need too is ask ourselves, he said, "What are we here for and why are we here? We don't need to ask ourselves whether we will become extremists but what kind of extremists we will be. We will need to be creative extremists, as extreme as possible like Martin Luther King JR. Go to your next Townhall forum and be the first one there, pack the room, and not let anything else stop you! Drive them out of town because they will no longer listen to us!"

Mike Conlin says that Healthcare agenda of the goverment is a scheme that will bankrupt America. They have trillions of dollars they can give back to employers and workers as tax credits for health care so they would be able to pay for their own insurance. The government State and Federal are giving money away exorbitantly but they don't not give any of this back to the people and instead they would like to hijack the health care industry by taking it over and running down it's quality, rationing care, and raising taxes and beauracracy on everyone.

The Grassroots of America are the real Power of the People!

Don Motizinger, head of the local chapter of Americans for Prosperity, spoke about our elected Democratic officials, Pat Krietlow, Jeff Smith (Mr Smith goes to Madison), Kristin Dexter, and Jeff Wood and their promises to raise taxes only as a last resort and they've broken every single one by voting for a horrible State budget authored by Governor Jim Doyle that raises taxes and fees on the sick (hospital tax), phones, Ipods, Internet, property taxes, cigarettes, capital gains, and fees on licenses for hunting, fishing, and give tuition to children illegal aliens to attend in-State schools. Jeff Wood is the biggest hypocrit by changing his colors and jumping parties. He was originally gung-ho for the TABOR (Tax Payer Bill of Rights) a few years ago and now he has become an independent when the winds of politics changed and has now voted for the massive Wisconsin budget.

Ken Van Doren talking spoke about the Federal Reserve and how it has become so big that it has spread money around to everybody and everything so that it has connected America to alot of monetary entanglements, financial debt and deficit spending, and has created a huge number of the problems that we have today. Andrew Jackson was one of the most effective fiscally responsible presidents that we have had in America as he is the only president who was able to pay the financial debt down to zero and he refused to reinstitute the Federal Bank of Reserve of his day.

These are the basic tenants of our country's wealth!

The crowd is thinning, the speakers are done, the food is served, God Bless America is sung and the TEA Party event in Eau Claire Wisconsin now has come to a close. We had a great event! July 4th is one of the greatest days of the year in America! I hope we have inspired everybody and we have gotten activism going in the Chippewa Valley. Word of mouth should lead to our growth and the ability to take this message to the next step, to take out those congressmen who are betraying and laying waste to the ideals of America. We look forward to 2010 elections and taking our Country back!!
